The “Domino effect” is a chain reaction that occurs when a small change causes a similar change nearby, which then will cause another similar change, and so on in linear sequence. It typically refers to the cascading effect happening due to changes in one part of the system. The Domino effect is a wonderful metaphor that talks about what happens in organizations and teams – where both good attitudes and the bad ones have a tendency to cascade.

“Saathi Haath Badhana”

This activity provides an excellent opportunity for examining customer satisfaction issues, and even internal satisfaction issues. If the instructor assumes the role of customer and states the rules as delivery specifications, the activity can highlight how a group can work to develop a satisfying customer relationship.

Jenga Tower

No one has a giant tower like ours. Also called as ‘Tumble Tower’, is a unique game of manual dexterity, needing a steady hand and nerves of steel. The aim of the game is to dismantle the tumble tower and rebuild it without losing any of the blocks or causing the tumble tower to topple over in the process. Strategically planning your moves after communication with team members becomes extremely important.

Blind fold rope square

We ask team members to blindfold each other. Give a piece of rope to one of the team members. Ask the team members to form a square with that rope. The team members are blindfolded so they can only give verbal instructions to each other to follow team members to form a square.

This gives facilitator an idea about team dynamics and can also learn about verbal communication skills within teams.

Art workshop

Is designed to challenge a teambuilding group creatively and ascertain whether they can effectively communicate and co-ordinate in order to create a large scale picture from smaller parts.

The Art Challenge is ideal for people who wish to avoid physically demanding challenges, and it can take place indoors or outdoors, depending on weather.

Clay play

Clay play unleashes creativity of teams. It is definitely not a child’s play! It is one of the very effective activities where facilitators get team members talking about the thought process behind designing their product, makes them feel proud of their creation. The activity promotes team communication, strategy, problem solving and Implementation.
